Make your own in seconds
Type your own steps, in your own order, and SCAFLI puts a picture with each one. It also makes school schedules and routines for any time of day.
Try asking for:
- “a bedtime routine for home”
- “an after school routine for home”
SCAFLI is in early access. The free PDF above needs no sign-up.
What it is
A home routine chart with six numbered steps. Each step has a picture, a few words and a box to check, and the last bar says All done.
How to use it
- Go over the chart together the first few mornings.
- Point to the next step instead of saying it again.
- Let your child check each box as it is done.
Three quick tips
- Hang it where the routine happens, at your child's eye level.
- Laminate it and use a dry-erase marker so it lasts.
- Celebrate All done, even on slow mornings.
Questions
- Can I change the steps?
- Yes. Type the steps you use at home and SCAFLI makes the chart with a picture for each.
- Is it only for home?
- No. Ask for a school morning, a therapy session or a doctor visit and you get those steps instead.
- How many steps should a routine have?
- Fewer is easier at the start. Six is a good size for many children, and SCAFLI can make shorter or longer ones.
